Hisstory Antiques has no public store or showroom; items are in our secure warehouse. Contact us (via contact form, email or phone) to make an appointment.

Items can be reserved by email or telephone. A reservation is standard 5 days valid.
Shipping & Order Information
Welcome to Hi(s)story Antiques. Because we work exclusively with unique, historic, and often fragile items, we take the utmost care in packaging and shipping your purchase.
Shipping within the Netherlands & the EU
- Always Safe: All packages are packed by hand to prevent breakage and, as standard, 100%, registered and insured sent via PostNL.
- Rates: Shipping costs are automatically calculated in your shopping cart based on the weight of the item.
- Delivery time: Upon receipt of payment, your order will be carefully packed within 1 to 3 business days and handed over to PostNL. You will immediately receive a Track & Trace code.
🇺🇸 International Shipping (United States & Worldwide)
- We Ship Worldwide: We proudly ship our collection of antiques, fine art, and vintage collectibles to international buyers, including the USA.
- Shipping Method: Standard international shipping is handled safely via PostNL International (registered and fully insured) for packages up to 20 kg.
- Customs & Duties: Please note that authentic antiquities (over 100 years old) and handmade fine art generally qualify for duty-free entry (0%) into the United States. For vintage items under 100 years old, any local import duties are the responsibility of the buyer.
⚖️ Large, Heavy, or Fragile Objects (>20 kg)
Are you interested in a piece of furniture, a large mirror, or an item weighing more than 20 kg (as indicated in the product description)? These items cannot be shipped via standard package mail.
- Custom Transport We work with specialized carriers to safely deliver larger items to you.

📍 Viewing or Collection
Sometimes you want to experience unique objects in person first. A viewing or personally collecting your order at our location in Geertruidenberg is always very welcome by appointment, e.g. specialized transport.
🧾 Invoices & VAT (Margin Scheme)
Our products are covered by the legal margin scheme. This means 0% VAT on the antique goods themselves, but VAT is charged on the shipping costs.
